Joakim is an experienced C-suite executive and political operative with more than 20 years’ experience from the financial sector and the organizational world. He is an expert within government and public affairs, business development, commercial strategies, legislation, and mergers and acquisitions nationally and internationally.

Before joining Szpirt he was CEO of the Danish Dental Association, The Dentists´ Safety Fund and before that Executive Vice President at Nordea with a proven track record in strategic and tactical management. He also has a strong track record in various financial boards and advisory committees, and government councils and working groups.

Joakim holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Copenhagen and has qualified as a lawyer, supported by studies in medical law and international law at the University of Edinburgh. He furthermore has executive training from Harvard, INSEAD and Wharton.
